Star Wars - Redemption | Lumberian Armor

Hi there !

I don't make new armors for Mevenn everyday, so It was really refreshing going back on art choices in a way to define the character further than what's already established. I wanted this armor to stand as an ancient Verfaorean relic coming from dark ages of Lumberia.
It was also a good subject to learn on how to make music for the project. That's a part I have been messing with for a long time and it's a vast new world to explore for me, but I enjoy the process a lot !

this costume was a multiple leap of faith on multiple points ^^" Like those blue VFX but also clothing them, and how the existing cosmetics code could work well with all that, but all in all it was a way to strengthen what's already there and the result is extremely satisfying (to the point I no longer play with other outfits ;))

If the customized phase one clone armor worked well to incorporate Mevenn within her troops, I think this one is fully who Mevenn is at her deepest core :)

Turn sound on so you can hear a first draft of Lumberia's main theme :) One of my first serious DAW experience ^^

High Poly (ZBrush)

Most of it rely on Dynamic Subdivs (keeps file much, much smaller and faster to work with). I rarely apply Subdivs (only for things that can be done quicker using a few brush strokes like cloth wrinkles)

The concept I made for this armor, using traditional media (pen, paper, ink, eraser ;))
I wanted to reflect on the Temple & Statue I did from Lumberia to make the armor as familiar as possible to this planet
